NCC is proud to be part to the Black Canyon Heritage Park (BCHP) Coalition interested in the future of the Black Canyon Heritage Park. This coalition is united by a mutual concern for creating and maintaining the BCHP as a sustainable park for promoting conservation, stewardship, and recreation through riparian restoration, preserving native species, and providing welcoming and accessible interpretive trails, displays, and viewing areas for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We all recognize the sustainability of the educational, natural, cultural, historical, and recreational resources of the park will contribute to the region's future quality of life and economic health.
The coalition consists of Black Canyon City Community Association, Black Canyon Historical Society, North Country Conservancy, US Bureau of Land Management, Friends of the Agua Fria National Monument, Arizona Game and Fish Department, and the US National Park Service.
