Parent/Guardian/Youth Hike on Daisy Mountain
Saturday, October 16, 2010, 09:00am - 11:00am
by Web MasterHits : 877
This easy (approximately two hours) morning hike will be for Parents (or guardians) and their children.  This will be our third of three hikes planned.  Each will be unique.  We'll have some stops for short educational discussions on some aspect of the mountain - geology, plants, wildlife, survival, birds, etc.  Lessons are geared to the 8 to 14 age group but all with an interest who are prepared for the walk are welcomed.

NOTE: This hike starts at 9 AM (a litle later than the last hike)

Starting Location: We'll be starting near New River Road about 6 miles east of the Roadrunner Cafe.   The exact parking location will be provided by the week before the hike.

Location : Daisy Mountain (New River side) - see above for details.
