Annual Meeting and Fundraiser
- Goal: Inform supporters of our progress and future while doing a fundraiser.
- Held January 23 at Pioneer Living History Village's Opera House with Phoenix Councilwoman Thelda Williams as our Key Note Speaker.
- Raised over $600.
Daisy Mountain Hikes
- Goal: Raise awareness of our mission and the threats to Daisy Mountain.
- Shane Nicholas volunteered to be NCC's Hiking Program Lead starting in January.
- We have had 4 hikes so far (February 27, March 27, April 24, and May 15).
- Each hike explored a different part of Daisy Mountain.
- Most hikes were easy; one hike was moderately difficult.
- Most hikers had not ever hiked on the mountain.
- About 1/3 were not acquainted with our mission before.
Walking Stick Program
- Goal: Raise awareness of our mission while doing a fundraiser
- Loretta Smith volunteered to be NCC's Walking Stick Program Lead in starting in May.
- Held class June 5 at El Encanto Dos with 16 participants (12 were new to NCC).
- Raised over $380.
- Have 12 volunteers helping with program.
